High pressure dominated over the region and brought mostly clear
skies, light and variable winds, and temperatures in the teens and 20s
late this morning. Snow pack remained across northwest Iowa and across
much of the Central to Northern Plains and western Great Lakes which
was clearly evident on visible satellite.  

The dry weather and mild temperatures will continue throughout the
work week and into the weekend. The coolest day looks to be Friday
when high temperatures remain in the 30s across Iowa, while the rest
of the week high temperatures are forecast to range in the 40s. The
next potential for any precipitation is Sunday afternoon into Sunday
night.
