Through early-afternoon...periods of light rain will move east 
over the region. Additional precipitation amounts will stay 
around a few hundredths of an inch. Stronger showers and storms 
will skirt along the southwestern South Plains through 10 am, 
generally north of a Morton to Tulia line and could produce an 
occasional flash of lightning, and heavier additional rainfall 
amounts between one quarter to one half of an inch. Another round
of rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible later this 
afternoon.
