Over the Lower Keys total water levels will reach 1.8 to 2.1 feet above mean sea level. This is about 1 foot above the normal predicted tide level. Over the Middle and Upper Keys total water levels will reach 1.5 to 1.8 feet above mean sea level. This is about 1 foot above the normal predicted tide. Flooding over the Upper Keys will mainly affect Bayside communities. * TIMING...Over the Lower Keys, saltwater flooding will be confined to near the time of high tide tonight, which will occur from about midnight until 4 am. Over the Middle Keys, impacts will be greatest throughout tonight, during an extended high tide. Over the Upper Keys, impacts will continue uninterrupted with little relief at low tide. * IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is likely. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater. $$ Futterman
