...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE MIDDLE AND UPPER KEYS...

* COASTAL FLOODING...Saltwater flooding is expected over the
  Middle Keys, with total water levels reaching about 2 feet above
  mean sea level. This is about 1.25 feet above the normal
  predicted tide. Saltwater flooding is also expected across the
  Upper Keys, especially the Bayside communities of Key Largo.
  Total water levels about 2 feet above mean sea level, or 1.25
  feet above the normal predicted tide, are possible. 

* TIMING...Across the Middle Keys, impacts from saltwater flooding
  will be greatest during the extended high tide. The next
  extended high tide will occur from late this evening through 
  the overnight hours. Across the Upper Keys, impacts from 
  saltwater flooding will tend to persist, despite the tidal 
  cycle, with little relief at low tide. 

* IMPACTS...Saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots 
  is expected. Some storm drains will overflow, and some 
  seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less 
  clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that 
  persistent puddles are almost certain to contain a mix of 
  saltwater. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that above normal tides will
cause flooding of low areas along the shore.

...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WILL OCCUR ACROSS LOW-LYING AREAS OF 
THE LOWER KEYS...

* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor saltwater flooding is likely over the 
  Lower Keys, with total water levels reaching 2.3 to 2.4 feet 
  above mean sea level. This is about one foot above the normal 
  predicted tide. 

* TIMING...Impacts from saltwater flooding will be greatest during
  high tide. The next higher high tide will occur around midnight
  tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low elevation streets 
  and lots is likely. Some storm drains will overflow, and some 
  seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less 
  clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that 
  persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost 
  certain to contain a mix of saltwater.
