A surface ridge over sourthern plains will gradually slide east, and swing winds around to the south at the surface. Sunday...Slightly warmer as gradient winds increase from the south. Clipper system mainly north in Iowa will provide a slight chance of rain extreme northern Missouri along the border tomorrow late afternoon through evening hours. Monday and Tuesday...Beginning of work week will be continued mainly dry as flow remains mostly zonal across the region and moisture extremely limited. Weak upper trough over the desert southwest begins to lift out late on Tuesday and move into the southern plains, while a cold front in the upper midwest begins to move towards the region. Temperatures will remain in the middle 50s to around 60 on Monday and little cooler on Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday...By Wednesday morning moisture from the southern shortwave trough will begin affecting the southern zones but forcing looks fairly week and moisture somewhat limited. Preciptitation type will be tricky as well given cooler air from the north also working into the region.
