...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM MST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 21 expected.

* WHERE...Southeast Gila County.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 9 AM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other 
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor 
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...In Arizona, Parker Valley and Yuma. In California, 
  Palo Verde Valley, Chiriaco Summit, Eastern portion of Joshua 
  Tree National Park, Western portion of Joshua Tree National 
  Park, Chuckwalla Valley, Southeastern Imperial County and 
  Chuckwalla Mountains.

* WHEN...From 11 PM MST /11 PM PDT/ this evening to 2 PM MST /2 
  PM PDT/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger 
  vehicles traveling along roads with crosswinds. Light, 
  unsecured objects may become airborne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of between
30 and 40 mph are expected, or wind gusts of between 40 and
58 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. In addition, strong winds over desert
areas could result in briefly lowered visibilities to well under
a mile at times in blowing dust or blowing sand. Use extra
caution.
