Minor coastal flooding for low lying coastal areas of the coast. * COASTAL FLOODING...Inundation of 1 to 2 feet above normally dry ground in typical, flood prone locations along the coast. * Waves and Surf...4 to 6 feet * TIMING...Minor coastal flooding possible through this afternoon. The high surf will diminish this evening. However the high rip current risk will persist through early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Frequent life-threatening rip currents are expected. The surf is dangerous for all levels of swimmers. Minor coastal flooding will impact typically flood prone areas along the coast. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... There is a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents are life- threatening to anyone entering the surf. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don't fight the current. Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired, float or tread water until out of the rip current. A High Surf Advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions. A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore. && $$ ALZ263-264-262300- /O.EXT.KMOB.CF.Y.0006.000000T0000Z-191026T2300Z/ Mobile Central-Baldwin Central- 122 PM CDT Sat Oct 26 2019 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * COASTAL FLOODING...Inundation of 1 to 2 feet above normally dry ground in typical, flood prone locations around Mobile Bay. * TIMING...through this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Minor coastal flooding of low lying areas around Mobile Bay is possible, including some water across the Mobile Bay Causeway.
