...RED FLAG WARNING FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE 1500 FEET IN INTERIOR 
MENDOCINO...NORTHERN LAKE...SOUTHERN TRINITY...AND EXTREME 
SOUTHEAST HUMBOLDT COUNTIES FROM LATE SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH 
EARLY MONDAY MORNING...

.Strong gusty winds are expected late Saturday evening through
Sunday night across exposed ridges of interior northwest
California. These winds will be collocated with very low humidity
values resulting in critical fire weather conditions.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO
6 AM PDT MONDAY...

* WIND...East to northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 
  mph. Locally higher gusts to 80 mph possible downwind from 
  highest ridgetops, particularly late Saturday night and early 
  Sunday morning near South Fork Mountain and the ridges of 
  eastern Mendocino County. 

* HUMIDITY...Afternoon humidity values from 5 to 15 percent 
  with poor overnight recovery.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
