Weak low pressure crosses northern New England tonight with some
light rain expected. High pressure crosses the area on Saturday
bringing a brief period of fair weather. The next low pressure
system arrives in our area on Sunday with more rain expected
through Sunday night. Although low pressure weakens and moves
away, high pressure over the Canadian Maritimes will allow a
moist onshore flow to persist for several days. This will bring
generally dreary weather with clouds and drizzle expected
especially on the coastal plain Monday and Tuesday. The next
frontal system is expected to arrive in the middle to later part
of next week.
