Minor coastal flooding with tidal runup into the dunes will be possible along narrow beaches around high tide for the next several days. Frequent gale force gusts will become likely early Friday into Friday night behind the passage of a strong cold front. A Gale Watch is in effect starting 7 AM CDT Friday until 10 PM CDT Friday for the Laguna Madre and the Gulf waters. If trends continue, an upgrade to a Gale Warning will be done on Thursday.
