Another dry cold front will likely cooler temperatures on Thursday and Friday. && .DISCUSSION...Current satellite imagery shows that mid and upper- level cloud cover has increased across the area ahead of an approaching cold front draped across Utah. This front will move into the area during the morning hours, but no precipitation is expected to accompany this boundary as is moves across the state. The current forecast captures these trends well and no updates are anticipated this evening. && .PREV DISCUSSION /236 PM MST/...Quiet weather is expected to continue for the next several days across northern Arizona. Few changes were made to the previous forecast. A trough and associated dry cold front will pass through northeast Arizona early Sunday. Behind the front, winds will shift to the northwest and remain breezy throughout the day. Daytime temperatures will be noticeably cooler across northeast Arizona, with highs 10 to 15 degrees cooler than today. The cooler air won't make it far enough to impact areas south of the Mogollon Rim, with temperatures remaining similar to today. Continued cool conditions and lighter winds can be expected Monday. A building ridge of high pressure off the West Coast will allow for warming temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures are forecast to be around 5 to 7 degrees above normal both days.
