Widespread hard freeze is still expected tonight with low
temperatures ranging from the mid teens to the mid 20s.

...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM MDT /11 AM CDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 14.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Kansas, east 
  central and northeast Colorado and southwest Nebraska.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM MDT /11 AM CDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...A killing freeze tonight will likely signal the end of
  the growing season across the entire Tri-State area. Prolonged
  freezing temperatures may possibly damage unprotected outdoor 
  plumbing as well.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
