* WHAT...Temps dropping into the mid to upper 20s, coldest near
  the Kern County line. Slightly colder temps expected Saturday
  morning. 

* WHERE...Antelope Valley.

* WHEN...For the Freeze Warning, from 2 AM to 8 AM PDT Friday. 
  For the Freeze Watch, from late Friday night through Saturday 
  morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other 
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor 
  plumbing.

* WHAT...Northeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 75 mph 
  possible.

* WHERE...Los Angeles County Mountains including the Santa 
  Monica Range. Strongest in and around the Highway 14 corridor 
  and western Santa Monica Mountains.

* WHEN...From today to 3 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines. 
  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be 
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
