Through 5 PM...Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue form
and drift slowly towards the west or southwest. As of 3:30 PM, the
heaviest rain was located around and just east of the city of
Zapata, south of Hebbronville, and across western Starr County. 
Drivers and others should be alert to reduced visibility to 1 mile
or less in downpours. Stronger or slower moving clusters could
drop an inch or more or rainfall and cause ponding of water in
poor drainage locations.

Through 5 PM...Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
will continue to drift westward at around 10 knots over the lower
Texas coastal Gulf waters. These showers and thunderstorms may
eventually cross into the Laguna Madre in the next hour or two.
Heavier showers may reduce visibilities briefly to 1 SM or less
and produce gusty winds, as well as cloud to water lightning.
