Through 7 am, a cold front will push south out of the Texas 
Panhandle and into the northern South Plains and northern Rolling
Plains. Along and behind the front, showers and thunderstorms are
expected to develop through the morning. A few of these storms
could produce locally heavy rainfall and wind gusts to 40 mph. Low
clouds and patchy fog may also push in behind the front,
especially across the northern South Plains.
