Rainfall totals this morning varied greatly, from a tenth or two to as much as 2 inches, with 2.1 inches was reported in Suamico from 8 to 9 AM. Rain and thunderstorms will continue today and tonight. Rain will be heavy at times with totals forecast to range from 1 to 3 inches, especially south of a Merrill to Marinette to Ephraim line, where localized flooding and river rises are anticipated. Less than an inch of rain is expected across northern Wisconsin. It was still warm and muggy across central and east- central Wisconsin this morning, however temperatures and humidity are expected to fall through the day, with readings by this evening in the 40s and 50s along with gusty north to northeast winds. $$ KLJ
