Red Flag Warnings have been issued for Monday for the central and eastern mountains, valleys, Pikes Peak region and most of the southeast plains. Any activities which could start a wildfire should be avoided. Moisture will increase across eastern Colorado on Tuesday, with the potential for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms through early Wednesday. An isolated strong storm will be possible across the plains on Tuesday, mainly southeast east of a line from Lamar to Kim. Small hail and wind gusts to around 50 mph will be possible with the stronger storms. Gusty winds and low humidity values will be possible across the mountain valleys again on Tuesday which may bring a return of elevated fire danger. Isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms will return to the forecast for late week into next weekend. The main threat from thunderstorms will be lightning and locally gusty winds up to 40 mph. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Weather spotters will not be needed tonight. $$ SKELLY/SKELLY
