The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West central Monona County in west central Iowa...
  Northeastern Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Central Thurston County in northeastern Nebraska...

* Until 1000 AM CDT Thursday.

* At 359 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the 
  warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen and 
  additional rain is expected. Flash flooding is expected to begin 
  shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Walthill, Macy, Rosalie and Thurston. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
