...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR WEST CENTRAL STORY AND EAST CENTRAL BOONE COUNTIES...

At 536 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ames, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...National Weather Service employee reported quarter sized 
         hail on the northwest side of the Iowa State University 
         campus.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Ames, Nevada, Gilbert, Iowa State Center and Ames Municipal Airport. 

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 110 and 120.
