the area Sunday through Monday. The strongest winds are expected
to impact the southern Sierra late Sunday then spread across the 
southern Great Basin Monday.

THROUGH LATE MONDAY NIGHT FOR STRONG WINDS AND VERY DRY
CONDITIONS...

* AFFECTED AREA...In California...Fire weather zones 226 and 
  227. 

* TIMING...Winds will begin to increase early Sunday evening, peak
  Monday afternoon, then diminish Monday night.

* WIND...Gusts of 40 to 50 MPH, with localized along the 
  southern Sierra up to 60 MPH

* HUMIDITY...8 to 12 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
