Mean ridging expected over the central Rockies and Northern 
Plains through early next week. This will support warm and dry 
weather. One last WNW flow impulse will traverse the region 
tonight, supporting nothing more than a few mid clouds and a wind 
shift tonight into Sat morning locally. A warming trend can be 
expected today through Monday, with 70s today, 80s Sat, and 80s 
and few 90s Sun-Mon. NW Pac upper trough will drop into the 
western CONUS next week, slowly progressing east in the week. 
Forecast models are offering a variety of run-run solutions as to 
how this system will evolve, either ejecting into the central 
CONUS in pieces or as one larger system. Rain chances and degree 
of temp moderation will remain muddled until a better grasp of 
these details is ascertained. Hence, rain chances currently remain
low Tue night on. One thing that is certain is that a cooling 
trend looks likely for the second half of the next week.
