Storms could become strong over these locations with localized wind gusts around 50 mph, nickel size hail, lightning, and locally heavy rainfall possible. Over the western and central mountains, isolated showers and thunderstorms, capable of generating wind gusts around 45 mph, small hail, lightning, and locally moderate to heavy rainfall will be possible from today into early this evening, with the potential for showers and even some snow showers continuing into tonight over the higher elevations of the central mountains, where total snow accumulations around one-half inch will be possible by sunrise Thursday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the far southeast corner of Colorado Friday afternoon and evening. On Sunday, isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the La Garita and Eastern San Juan Mountains, and the Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Moisture will increase Monday and Tuesday, with scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms expected over the mountains and high valleys, and possibly over portions of the Interstate 25 corridor. The main storm threats will be lightning and wind gusts up to 50 mph. However on Monday and Tuesday, there will also be the threat of locally heavy rain, and small hail with some of the stronger storms. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
