.DISCUSSION...One more day of well above normal temperatures will be
seen across the region today ahead of a trough that will bring gusty
winds and cooler temperatures tonight through early next week. This
increase in southwest winds will result in elevated fire weather
concerns across the entire region, with critical conditions
expected in northwest Arizona. There will also be a slight chance of
showers and thunderstorms across the higher terrain of Lincoln and
northern Mohave Counties this afternoon.
