...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM MST WEDNESDAY
FOR DRY LIGHTNING AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM MST Wednesday. 

* AFFECTED AREA...In Arizona...Fire weather zone 102.

* TIMING...Thunderstorms are expected to develop in the early
  afternoon, then begin to diminish during the early evening.

* WIND...Erratic winds could gust to 40 mph near thunderstorms.

* HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated thunderstorms, primarily affecting the
  Arizona Strip, may produce very little precip resulting in dry 
  lightning episodes.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
dry lightning and erratic, gusty winds can contribute to fire
starts and extreme fire behavior.
