...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER CENTRAL OREGON WEDNESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

.The air mass will become more unstable on Wednesday, and a few
weak impulses traveling north across central Oregon will bring
scattered thunderstorms beginning late Wednesday continuing
through Thursday evening. Some thunderstorms will produce light 
rainfall amounts, increasing the potential for new fire starts due
to lightning. Gusty outflow winds are always possible with 
thunderstorms.

THURSDAY EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS
FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 611...

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday evening. 

* AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon...Fire weather zone 611.

* TIMING...Scattered thunderstorms will develop around 4 PM then 
  increase in coverage Wednesday evening.

* LIGHTNING ACTIVITY...3 meaning scattered thunderstorms with
  light to moderate rain.

* PRECIPITATION...Most storms will bring up to a tenth of an inch  
  of rainfall.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.

  Thursday morning but will return Thursday afternoon.

* LIGHTNING ACTIVITY...3 meaning scattered thunderstorms producing
  light to moderate rain.

* PRECIPITATION...Most storms will bring up to one tenth of an
  inch of rain.  Locally heavier amounts are possible.
