Weather hazards expected... Elevated lightning risk. DISCUSSION... Scattered showers will be possible through the evening and overnight hours across the area. A complex of showers and thunderstorms will develop across northern and central Kansas overnight and push into far southeast Kansas by sunrise Sunday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Showers and thunderstorms could be ongoing across southeast Kansas and western Missouri Sunday morning with additional showers and storms developing further east across the area during the day. An isolated strong to severe storm is possible across the area if enough instability can develop. Heavy rainfall may lead to isolated flooding across the area. A strong cold front will move through the area Monday night with a risk for strong to severe storms. Highest potential for storms will occur from southeast Kansas into western Missouri.
