A cold front moved out of Nebraska and then stalled out along the Kansas and Nebraska border area. Little difference in temperature was noted behind the front, although winds did shift to the east. By mid afternoon, temperatures ranged from the lower 90s to around 100 degrees. OUTLOOK... widely scattered thunderstorms will develop across the area tonight, with more widespread thunderstorms expected late tonight in parts of Nebraska. Low temperatures will be mainly in the 60s with fog possible around sunrise. After morning clouds and areas of fog, Wednesday will be partly sunny with another chance of thunderstorms. Storms will become more numerous Wednesday night, mainly south of Interstate 70. Temperatures on Wednesday will be cooler, ranging from the upper 70s in southwest Nebraska to the lower 90s in west central Kansas. $$
