This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

There is a good chance of thunderstorms Tuesday, especially in 
the afternoon. The primary thunderstorm hazards will be large hail
and damaging winds. Other storm related hazards include lightning
and heavy downpours that could lead to localized flooding.

A good chance of thunderstorms is forecast throughout the region 
Wednesday and Thursday, and over the southern half of the region 
Friday. Lower chances of thunderstorms are forecast Saturday and 
Sunday. Locally heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds will be
the primary storm hazards through the period.

Peak heat index readings of 100 to around 105 are forecast both
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Spotters should monitor updated forecasts and be prepared should 
activation be requested on Tuesday.
