The primary thunderstorm hazards will be large hail and damaging winds. Other storm related hazards include lightning and heavy downpours that could lead to localized flooding. A good chance of thunderstorms is forecast throughout the region Wednesday and Thursday, and over the southern half of the region Friday. Lower chances of thunderstorms are forecast Saturday and Sunday. Locally heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds will be the primary storm hazards through the period.
