Thunderstorms are possible across the southeastern Texas Panhandle this afternoon and evening. Should storms develop, they may become severe with damaging winds being possible. Temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 105 degrees this afternoon across parts of the Texas Panhandle. As a result, a Heat Advisory is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon through 8 PM this evening for Palo Duro Canyon along with Hutchinson, Randall, and Armstrong Counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Thunderstorms will be possible for some or all of the Panhandles Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday afternoon through Thursday night. Some of the storms may become severe with damaging winds being the most probable threat. High temperatures may exceed 105 degrees in Palo Duro Canyon and across parts of the central Texas Panhandle Monday.
