The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued an Excessive Heat Watch, which is in effect through Wednesday evening. * HEAT INDEX VALUES...Up to 101 due to temperatures in the mid 90s, and dewpoints in the lower 70s. * TIMING...High temperatures in and around Philadelphia will be in the lower 90s on Sunday, and then near 95 on Monday and Tuesday. This, along with surface dewpoints in the lower 70s, results in a heat index approaching 100 on Sunday, and then up to 101 on Monday and Tuesday. The heat and humidity could last into Wednesday. * IMPACTS...The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
