This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms developing over the High Plains this evening may reach
central Kansas late tonight, posing primarily a strong wind and 
heavy rain threat. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There will be multiple opportunities for strong to severe
thunderstorms from Thursday through at least Sunday. The primary
threats will continue to be damaging wind gusts and large hail.
Depending on how storms evolve each day, there is some risk for
significant severe weather with wind gusts in excess of 70 mph and
hail up to 2" in diameter. Flooding/flash flooding will be a concern
as well. Stay tuned for daily updates to the severe weather
potential.

By next week, at least a marginal risk of dangerous heat may
develop.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today, but could be needed at
times over the next few days.
