At 512 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Woodstock, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.

Elgin, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Carpentersville, Algonquin,
McHenry, Woodstock, Lake Zurich, Wauconda, Barrington, Island Lake,
Long Grove, Marengo, Wonder Lake, Sleepy Hollow, East Dundee, Lake In
The Hills, Huntley, Hawthorn Woods and Inverness.
