...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM MDT FOR
NORTH CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL...WEST CENTRAL HARDING AND SOUTHEASTERN MORA
COUNTIES...

At 905 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms continuing to 
produce moderate to heavy rain across the warned area. The public 
has reported around two inches of rain in Roy, and it is likely over 
4 inches of rain has fallen to the southwest of Roy. Flash flooding 
is expected to begin shortly, and may impact Highway 120 west of Roy 
as well as Maddox Road. Flash flooding may also impact La Cinta 
Creek. High water flows can be expected in the Canadian River as 
well.

Roy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flash flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of normally
dry arroyos and streambeds, low water crossings, intersections, and
underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low lying areas.
