At 859 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported numerous locations inundated in flood waters in and around West Hartford CT due to excessive rainfall. Spotters have also reported many cars remain stuck in flood waters with several having been removed by local authorities. Water rescues have also occurred with this activity. Nearly four inches of rain have already fallen. The heaviest rain has begun to shift east and out of the warned area. Flash flooding continues. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hartford, New Britain, West Hartford, Bristol, Southington, Newington, Windsor, South Windsor, Farmington, Wolcott, Simsbury, Bloomfield, Berlin, Avon, Plainville, East Windsor, Canton, Burlington, East Granby and Terryville Station.
