...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WEST CENTRAL IDAHO COUNTY UNTIL
600 PM PDT...

At 515 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles west of White Bird, or 24 miles west of Grangeville, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

Nickel size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Kooskia, Cottonwood, Stites, Ferdinand, Canfield, Winona, Keuterville
and Fenn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
