The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  West central Mohave County in northwestern Arizona...

* Until 1145 AM MST.

* At 839 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
  thunderstorms along a line from near South Cove/Meadview south to 
  the Hualapai Mountains near Kingman. Automated gages in the 
  Hualapai Mountains have reported between a half and three quarters 
  of an inch of rain. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory 
  area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Kingman, Grand Canyon Skywalk, Pierce Ferry And Antares Roads, 
  Blake Ranch Road, Meadview, DW Ranch Road, Packsaddle Campground, 
  Grand Canyon Ranch, New Kingman-Butler, Dolan Springs, South Cove, 
  Hualapai Mountain Park, Lake Mead National Recreation Area and 
  Hualapai Peak.

This includes Interstate 40 in Arizona between mile markers 47 and
71.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
