Mostly sunny skies prevailed across Iowa this morning with below
normal temperatures and light northeast winds. Temperatures had
climbed into the upper 60s and lower 70s by late morning while some
high clouds moved into far western Iowa. 

Quiet weather is forecast throughout much of the work week as high
pressure looks to dominate the weather pattern. A couple weak
disturbances try to push east Wednesday and Thursday and may spawn a
few showers and storms over western Iowa into Nebraska. Additional
rain chances are forecast over western Iowa and portions of eastern
Nebraska over the weekend. Temperatures remain near normal late this
week into the weekend after a couple of nice and cool days.
