(Tonight and Monday)

...Possible Rain Northern Big Country...

Models have been somewhat inconsistent regarding whether
convection may drift into our northern Big Country counties
tonight and Monday. Nevertheless, with continuity in mind,
continuing slight chance PoPs for that area looks reasonable.
Otherwise, these two periods remain dry.

.LONG TERM...
(Monday Night through Sunday)

...Continued Dry with Unusually Warm Temperatures...

The long term remains dry, with temperatures mainly above those
usual for late July and early August. Looking at the GFS 500mb
height ensemble data, it's obvious this model run is very similar
to yesterday's 12Z GFS run. The center of an upper high meanders 
in and around the four corners area of the desert southwest. Thus,
overnight lows and afternoon highs several degrees above seasonal
normals remain likely.
