Minor adjustments were made to this afternoon's highs and tonight's lows to account for short term trends. Otherwise, forecast remains in excellent shape overall. Updated for aviation discussion PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 257 AM CDT Thu Jul 25 2019/ Skies are mostly clear across the Mid-South early this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s to upper 60s. High pressure is currently centered over northern Indiana. T This high will move slowly east today keeping dry weather across the Mid-South. Temperatures will be pretty close to where they were yesterday with highs in the mid 80s. Tonight, the surface high will continue to move slowly east into Ohio with more dry weather expected across the Mid-South. Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer tonight with lows Friday morning in the low to mid 60s. The surface high will be across the Appalachians on Friday with continued dry weather expected over the Mid-South. Temperatures will be a little warmer on Friday with high in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. Friday night will remain dry with temperatures a little warmer as lows Saturday morning will be in the mid 60s to around 70 degrees. The weekend looks to be remaining dry with temperatures remaining a couple of degrees below normal. Monday looks like we will have a return to a more seasonal weather pattern with scattered thunderstorms possible.
