Afternoon temperatures will range from the mid 70s in northwest Massachusetts to the mid 80s in the Connecticut Valley. Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening. There is a possibility of some localized flooding due to poor drainage. Overnight lows will return to the 60s this evening. Tuesday will feature below normal temperatures, with afternoon highs ranging in the 70s across the region. Rain will move offshore late morning Tuesday, with skies slowly clearing into the evening. Overnight lows will range from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Looking ahead, dry weather arrives Wednesday and stays through at least Friday with seasonable temperatures and comfortable humidity levels.
