A Heat Advisory remains in effect this afternoon for Norton, Sheridan, Graham, Logan, Gove, Greeley, and Wichita counties in northwest Kansas. Heat index values at or around 105 degrees are possible for those areas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in east-central Colorado through 11 PM MDT tonight. An isolated storm may become severe, with a primary threat of damaging winds with wind gusts up to 70 mph. More widespread thunderstorms are expected to track eastward from Colorado into western Kansas and southwest Nebraska this evening into tonight. Locally heavy rainfall and isolated flash flooding will be possible. Patchy blowing dust may be possible at times through the early evening hours, especially either south of I-70 or east of KS Hwy 27. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
