...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN TALLAPOOSA AND
NORTHWESTERN CHAMBERS COUNTIES UNTIL 215 PM CDT...

At 141 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sparkling Springs, or 15 miles south of Lake Wedowee, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Penton, Trammel Crossroads, Abanda, Sparkling Springs and Daviston. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
