This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Outlook: Showers and thunderstorms.

Hazards: Lightning...gusty winds and brief downpours.

Timing: Through this evening. 
 
Discussion: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible into
this evening before diminishing.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Outlook: There is a chance of thunderstorms over all or parts of
central Indiana at times Monday through Saturday. Showers and
thunderstorms will be most numerous Tuesday and Wednesday...producing 
Lightning...gusty winds...torrential rainfall and localized flooding 
as the remnants of Barry lift through the Ohio Valley.

Peak heat indices in the 90s are expected Monday and Wednesday...then
at 100 to 105 degrees for late week into next weekend.
 
Discussion: The remnants of Barry will move through the Ohio Valley
Tuesday and Wednesday...bringing the threat for scattered to numerous
strong storms producing torrential rainfall and localized flooding. 
The hottest and most humid air of the season so far is then poised to
spread into central Indiana for late week into next weekend.
