High pressure centered over the Rockies will continue to linger throughout the weekend, holding dry weather in place through the Midwest. Weak winds will continue to flow into the region from the south and southwest this weekend, ushering warmer air back across the area. This will lift temperatures back into the 90s Saturday and Sunday, brining heat index values to the mid and upper 90s. Next chance of rainfall will occur during the first half of next week as remnants from Tropical Storm Barry arrive into the region.. Lows tonight across the region will drop into the 60s. Highs Saturday will range from upper 80s to low 90s around the area. $$
