With this said, VFR conditions will remain across all the terminals over the next 24 hours. We will watch for the potential for some development of some isolated convection this afternoon. The potential for severe thunderstorms remains in the forecast, for tonight and Thursday. A cold front will push south, across Texas tonight, and initiate thunderstorms. Short-term models still indicate surface winds, from the north or northeast, across all of West Central Texas late tonight and all day tomorrow. The Storm Prediction Center has much of West Central Texas in a marginal risk area. The main threats are damaging winds and deadly lightning. Also, the heat advisory continues through 7 PM CDT this evening, with possible heat indices around 106 or 107. LONG TERM... (Thursday Night through Wednesday) .Dry and Cooler...
