Update: Surface high pressure has brought mostly clear skies and light winds to NE Montana this evening. A shortwave trough on SW flow aloft is currently over SW Montana. That wave will move through the forecast area during the day on Sunday with a weak frontal boundary. Some moisture ahead of the wave could bring a few showers to the southwest part of the forecast area late tonight and some areas north of the Missouri River Sunday morning and early afternoon. Will update the forecast this evening for this. Forrester Previous Discussion: Rest of this afternoon and tonight, forecast area will remain under clear skies and very little chances for precipitation. This weather pattern will continue until Sunday morning, before an area of low pressure moves mainly south of the region by Sunday afternoon. As a result, showers and possible thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly southern Garfield, Prairie, Dawson and Wibaux Counties. For Monday most area will have a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Most of next week will be in the wetter side as another upper trof lifts across the Pacific Northwest. FGC && .AVIATION...
