The National Weather Service in Topeka has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Jefferson County in northeastern Kansas...

* Until 1145 PM CDT Saturday.

* Emergency Management indicates flooding along the Delaware river 
  due to backwater from Lake Perry continues to inundate parts of 
  the city of Valley Falls. Specifically, areas around Sycamore and 
  Maple Road including the park and ball fields are inundated.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Valley Falls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
