...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO
MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Coastal
Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to
midnight EDT tonight.

* LOCATIONS...The lower Cape Fear River including downtown 
  Wilmington.

* TIMING...From 8 PM this evening to midnight EDT tonight.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Portions of Battleship Road, USS North
  Carolina Road and River Road may become partially covered with
  water. In addition, portions of Water Street of downtown 
  Wilmington may see up to 3 inches of water coverage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
