Thunderstorms will continue through the late evening along the I-4 corridor and areas northward. The main threat from these storms will be occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes. While most of the storms are forecast to dissipate by midnight, a few rumbles of thunder will be possible overnight. .FLOOD IMPACT... A line of showers and thunderstorms is producing heavy rain from Clermont to Altamonte Springs to New Smyrna Beach this evening. Around 2 inches of rain is possible with this line of storms with some locally heavier amounts possible. This may cause flooding of low lying areas, roads, ditches, and canals. The line of storms is forecast to dissipate by midnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. Higher rain chances, along with the possibility of localized minor flooding will be present daily through most of next week.
