The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Weber County in northern Utah...
  Northeastern Box Elder County in northern Utah...
  Davis County in northern Utah...

* Until 830 PM MDT

* At 529 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding along the Northern 
  Wasatch Front.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Ogden, Layton, Bountiful, Farmington, Brigham City, Tremonton,
  Cache, Roy, Clearfield, Kaysville, Syracuse, Clinton, North Ogden,
  South Ogden, Centerville, Woods Cross, Washington Terrace,
  Riverdale, Hooper and South Weber.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
